iPad 2 Review
Okay before I start this review, let me just say thank you for visiting this website.
Pros: An amazing product just gets even better. Thinner, Lighter, and much much faster. For sure an improvement on the original iPad. Amazing 3D graphics and over all, its just pretty awesome.
Cons: The camera quality is definitely not what I expected. Also wished for more access to cloud storage.
The iPad 2, to start this review off, has become one of the world's most known and loved tablets. When it came out, they were sold out, well, in pretty much seconds. As you all probably know, there have been a lot of tablets coming out lately, and they all say to have better specs than the iPad 2. Well, this may be true, but none of them have the simplicity, fun-ness (Is that a word?...Who cares) apps, consumer demand, popularity, sleekness, great price, screen quality (No, seriously, go to a store and compare them) fast response, gosh I could go on for hours, of the iPad 2.
Once you pick one up, you can definitely tell a difference from the original iPad. Enter, and discover a revolutionary product with way higher specs then the original iPad. 1GHz dual-core processor, double the RAM of the original, and a fast 3G version which comes in Verizon and AT&T. Their are 65,000 apps built for the iPad, not including all the iPhone and iPod Touch apps that also run on the iPad. You can buy 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models, all in either black or white, and Verizon or AT&T.
What's New: The iPad 2 is 33% thinner and a little bit lighter. Way faster processor, as I mentioned earlier, an A5 dual core CPU. 512 MB of RAM, it sounds low but the iPad 2 has only crashed ONE time for me. The camera is a disappointing 0.7 Megapixels which doesn't take good photos or impressive videos. However, the back camera does have VGA quality picture, and they say it is HD. The operating system it comes with is iOS 4.3
The Design of it All
At 0.34" its pretty darn thin. I measured it to a iPod Touch 1st Generation and its a tad thinner than it. It is also thinner than the iPhone 4 and iPad original. Its sleekness is amazing. The speaker is louder and better quality than the original iPad. As I said, it comes with black or white, and to be honest with you, the white isn't very good. It may look cool as an object, but when you turn it on, it makes the screen look TINY. It also collects a teeny bit more finger prints.
The (Almost) ten inch screen looks amazing. Its colors are vibrant and very colorful as ever. With the new gyroscope makes gaming amazing. Some apps like Jenga HD have gyro features where you can move around and view different parts of the game. And the speed? Wow, very fast, very VERY fast. Its response is just amazing. No offense to anyone, but the NookColor's responsiveness is terrible. And the iPad 2 is definitely faster than the original. When swiping at the screen, there is no lag pretty much whatsoever.
iOS 4.3 comes with new features such as the lock switch, where now you can set it to muting the sound or locking the rotation if you push the switch. Also, you can now use your iPhone as a personal WI-FI hotspot anywhere. (If you have an iPhone that is...) And overall, its great.

To wrap up this review, I must start by saying, the iPad was an amazing advance in technology. And now, the iPad 2, just made it even better. The thinness, fastness, lightness, disappointing (yet still cool) camera, and all the new features, has just made it amazing. It didn't come with huge loads of new features, but still, Apple releases updates a lot, and some of them are huge. And besides, has Apple failed us yet? Will iPad have Flash support one day, you ask? My answer is.... I have no idea, and really, who knows? Maybe Apple will surprise us one day with Flash, Yeah right you say? Once again,, who KNOWS? We will just have to wait to see what iOS 5 has in store for us. Thank you for visiting this website, and peace out to you all!
